Thomason Tradition Sport Fishing is a premiere light tackle fishing guide service on the Chesapeake bay ran by father and son duo Captain Drey Thomason and Captain Brian Thomason. We target many species through out the seasons- Striped Bass, Red Drum, Cobia, Sea Trout “speck”, Blue Fish, Spanish Mackerel and more. We offer some of the best light tackle shallow water fishing adventures on the Eastern/Western shores of Maryland/Virginia with some top notch striped bass, trout and red fish in the skinny’s . During the summer months we have some of the best bull red drum fishing in the WORLD. Winter months can offer some very large migratory trophy striped bass. We focus on all light tackle and artificial lures techniques through out the year.
LIGHT TACKLE GUIDED TRIPS
We offer premier inshore light tackle fishing trips starting with 6 hour half day guided trips or full day guided trips. We also offer “walk on” trips on our social media sites which will be posted through out the season, so please keep an eye out for our walk on availability’s if interested. We target primarily Striped bass, Large Red Drum, Cobia, and Sea Trout using light tackle gear with artificial lures.
50$ deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance of your trip will be payed at the dock after the trip has been completed. Full refund available if cancelled within 48hours notice before scheduled date and time.
